Day 12: 30 Day Nature Challenge

I guess it’s not too early for pumpkins 🎃 ? Seen on this morning’s walk. I didn’t hear a thing last night because I slept hard but I heard this morning that we had some terrible storms? I wish I could have heard the rain because I do love the sound of rain at night. Today marks day 12 of #30daynaturechallenge . Still going strong!

Day 11: 30 Day Nature Challenge

Although I did go for my morning walk today, my day 11 of #30daynaturechallenge image is from my own backyard. My pretty gardenia, given to me this spring by my mother, bloomed her fragrant flowers early, then stopped and I thought that was it for this year. I’d bring her indoors before the first frost and hope she blooms next year. I was lucky because yesterday, she graced us with one more bloom and it smells glorious.

Day 4: 30 Days of Nature

Mystery squash. 4th day of #30DayNatureChallenge.

Mystery squash. 4th day of #30DayNatureChallenge.

Today’s post is a mystery because it’s another one of those spring excitement purchases that I don’t really know what I bought and am growing. Anyone have a clue? I guess that’s a side benefit of my #30DayNatureChallenge - it’s giving me a good reason to check out what I’m growing!
